Swarthout Hall Dorm Reviews at Carroll

Swarthout Hall is a quiet place that you can get a lot of work done and do not have to worry about people being loud at night. It is in a great location and you can roll out of bed and make it to class in 5 minutes. The RAs are very friendly and involved and want to get to know each of the residents. All of my friends live on my floor so it is very nice getting to know all of the girls.

As a college freshman, I was actually nervous the first time I went into my dorm, because I didn’t know how I would feel, and with the the staff being so nice it felt like I really chose the best dorm hall to live in.

For the most part, this hall is great. It is super close to the main campus and the campus center so, the location is certainly a major plus. The common bathrooms could be more cleaner and sanitized more frequently especially because of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Overall, it is pretty nice. Technically it is a freshman dorm but it is right by the main campus which it really convenient. It is clean and quiet for the most part, more so now because of COVID. With the increased rules, it is nice. No AC but heat.
