Pat Tarble Hall Dorm Reviews at Carthage

Pat Tarble Hall is a stereotypical college underclassman dorm. The rooms are on the smaller side, based on the pictures of underclassmen dorms at universities/colleges in the area. There is no air conditioning, but if you have a lakeview or are in the basement/ bottom floors, there is really not an issue with keeping the room cool. It is the closest dorm to all of the academic buildings, which is nice when the weather gets cold.

My experience in Tarble, the all-girls dorm, has been pretty good overall. The bathrooms are nicer than most co-ed dorms, as well as the smell in general. Basically, if you don't want your clothes to smell like weed, live in this res hall. It is closest to the music building as well as the psych and science buildings. It isn't the closest to the cafeteria, but I never go to the cafeteria anyway. Some girls are loud past quiet hours and leave the bathrooms in a gross state, but largely it is the best you're going to get here.
