The Oaks Residential Village Dorm Reviews at Carthage

Living in the Oaks is such an upgrade from living in communal dorms prior. If you upkeep your room and bathroom, it is very nice, but if you don’t it will get dirty. You can’t hear your neighbors which is nice so you have a sense of privacy too.

Oaks is the only dormitory for freshman at GSW, but I believe is a really good one, and it's perfect for your first year. In my freshman year, I shared a double room, and I really like having a private restroom. I think the best aspect is that every room in Oaks has one.

The Oaks is a perfect place to be if you enjoy a quieter experience at school. You are a bit farther from the other residence halls, but the campus is very small, so you do not really notice it. The Oaks are a great place if you want your own bathroom and/or your own personal room.
