Townhouse Community Dorm Reviews at Cornell

While I entered the Townhouse Community during Covid-19, I found that my time there was fantastic for my first year. In fact, the extra room and apartment-like build of the dorm was perfect for being stuck in the dorm more often this past year. The location is nicely placed near RPCC, A lot and connected to the rest of North Campus. The only issue with the location may be its longer distance from the rest of campus. However everything up to Collegetown is in a 20-30 minute walk. The only gripes I had was with the plumbing in for my specific dorms toilet as well as the somewhat thin walls that made it easy for sound to travel between dorms. Other than that, it was a great experience.

It was a great experience with lots of space. I liked the apartment style living with once a month cleaning service. The living room space was nice and spacious. Also I loved having a personal kitchen for just me and my roommates unlike the other dorms.

The main downside is how far the townhouse feels from the rest of campus. But there's definitely more space for each student. You only share a bathroom with the 3 other students you live with, and we have a nice little kitchen for us to share.
