I lived here 2009-2010 as a freshman. I didn't feel like it took away from my college experience not living in some of the other dormitories closer to campus. I was able to live there as a freshman because I took a year off before applying to colleges. It was brand new when I lived there so not sure if it has changed much--but I would recommend it to anyone not worried with living right on campus and ok with a short 10-15 min walk. Only downside was walking through the snow in the winter!
