Palmetto South is a terrific living space. Once rules are established with the others living with you, your time will be enjoyable. One is not easy to socialize, the room sizes, kitchen access, and everything available in the house is worth it.

Palmetto South is an apartment style dorm. I like the dorms we have amenities such as a kitchen for cooking and we have non communal bathrooms. Itβs far from campus which is kind of off putting but all in all itβs great. Itβll only be bad if you and your roommates arenβt cleanly.

Apartment themselves are fairly good, decent amount of space for the cost. Make sure you get good roommates to keep place clean. Housing Staff can be a little bit much with their random evaluations but otherwise are a fun and understanding group. Great first apartment or dorm choice for more freedom during college.

I met my best friend at FAMU here and I would not trade it for the world. You will have to window watch for the venom because the tracker is never accurate and be prepared to see FAMU PD and Tallahassee police all around Palmetto and Phase.

The best thing about Palmetto South are the single rooms. The rooms are kind of small but I'd rather be in the small room than have a roommate (did that last year and yikes!!) I especially like living on the end of the building because it's cleaner and easy access to the parking lot.

For the majority of my freshmen year, I either had no running water or there was no hot water. We always got last-minute maintenance messages. And as a trans male, they did not accommodate to make me more comfortable regarding my situation.

Being a freshmen coming into Palmetto South was an amazing experience, itβs a nice apartment style dorm with a kitchen, a living room and 2 bathrooms. Also it is cheaper than the other dorms on campus, along with a meal plan not being required.

Within the one semester I have lived in PAlmetto South this year, my experience was somewhat lackluster. There were many bugs already in the dorms and geese often surrounded the entrance into a he buildings, but overall I only go to my dorm to sleep and study so I donβt spend too much time there.

Very spacious rooms and good parking. No complaints so far. The people there do a great job of keeping the dorms clean and the office is a great resource for everything pertaining to housing. I love it.
