Kaufman Hall Dorm Reviews at FIT

Kaufman Hall, although not directly across the street from campus, Is a convenient place to live as an FIT student. The area itself however is not so nice. There has been constant construction noise day and night for the past few years and its proximity to Penn Station makes it a very busy area and can get scary at night. The rooms themselves are pretty nice with large windows , and the laundry downstairs is definitely a plus for living in NYC.

Maintenance and Security was always available when I needed them. There was alot of construction happening outside causing loud noises in the morning when I was a resident. Very amazing location, and was conveniently close to everything.

Kaufman Hall is quiet and is the perfect building for students to live in if they still want to live on campus without being on campus. The location of the building is great for students who love the city, being right next to multiple tourist attractions. Coming home to a studio style room is fantastic.
