Cawthon Hall Dorm Reviews at FSU

I went into my fall semester at Cawthon Hall a little uneasy at first because I had heard that it was the "music dorm" and I would not fit in because I did not play any instruments. But after we had our first floor meeting I realized how welcoming everyone was to one another. My roommate and I became very comfortable with our fellow hall-mates because they were all so easy to talk to. Our RA also did a really good job at hosting many events where we would all get to interact with one another and meet many people with different backgrounds and interests which was great! I could not have asked for a better first year dorm experience.

It is really nice. We have practice rooms in the dorm building and even some classes are taken in that building. It is an LLC so I am with students who have the same passion as me. The workers are so kind. It has been an amazing experience.

Being a member of Cawthon hall has been a joyous experience. I have met so many new friends here in the kitchen and has been greeted by many smiling faces. If there was a problem within the dorms they was fixed quickly. I love my dorm in Cawthon hall.

Cawthon is a creative hub for music students and others. It is clean, social, and an ideal central location on campus. I loved my Cawthon Hall experience and would recommend to anyone applying to FSU!

Cawthon Hall is located right next to Landis Green, Chick-fil-A, and a 4 Rivers barbecue. Additionally, it is located within easy walking distance to all of campus and is within a 5 minute walk of Suwannee. The location is perfect and the common areas are quite nice.
