During the last two years of my time at FSU, I stayed at Traditions Hall in the apartment style. There were two single bedrooms, one shared bathroom, a kitchen, and a living room. Despite its high cost, I felt like it was worth the price for a multitude of reasons.
Location wise, Traditions is across the street from the gorgeous on-campus gym and the stadium. It is also only a short walk from the Biology building and about the same distance between Stroz and Dirac.
As for cleanliness, Traditions is very well-kept compared to other dormitories. This includes the laundry room, study areas, and the apartments. They had a reliable cleaning staff that even visited the apartments once a month for the bathroom. Additionally, maintenance would typically come the next day when asked.
I never had any problems with the Hall being too loud as it mostly contains upper-level students and the building is cement. The only exception being Game Days when the Band marched around the campus.
Lastly, I always felt pretty safe in the Traditions Hall. We were advised to keep our doors locked at all time and to not allow anybody without card access into the building. During one of Florida's hurricanes, my younger siblings came to stay with me in the Hall. We all felt very secure as the building did not shake, rattle, or many any noises at all. We also kept power!
I highly recommend Traditions Hall to any FSU students.
