Dorman Hall Dorm Reviews at FSU

I met the best people in Dorman Hall. It is a perfect location; great common areas. Close to everything. It was very convenient to all of my classes and the other freshman dorms. Move in and out was easy. We never had maintenance issues.

Last year I was a freshman in Dorman Hall and overall really enjoyed it. It is a newer dorm and the location cannot be beat. It was quick to get to most of my classes, a large parking garage is across the street, right next to the health center, and less than 10 min. to the main dining hall. They offered quite a few activities to get to know others which made it nice especially in the beginning.

Personally, I enjoyed living in the dorm. The decision to dorm gave me the best freshman year experience I could get with COVID 19 around. Without living in Dorman Hall, I would not have met my best friends. It was a truly great experience.

My experience at Dorman hall has fostered a productive learning environment during the COVID-19 pandemic. Through the challenges of e-learning presented to me over the past few months, I have known that I have a safe, comfortable and clean area to call home in Tallahassee.

Dorman hall is probably one of the best halls on campus for freshman. The hall is quite centrally located, only a short walk from Landis, CVS, or Einstien Bros Bagels, and it is located right next to the UPS Store and the Den. The floor is also quite clean bar the mess made by rude residents but the cleaning staff are very good at there job and messes usually do not last more than a day.

Dorman hall is clean, safe, and has great accommodations. All of the staff, both maintenance and resident assistants are excellent. Overall my experience living here has been quite positive and I would recommend it to anyone.

Living in a dorm is an incredible way to meet people and not have to worry about cooking and cleaning at first while being away from school. I loved that we had someone always at the front desk to ensure safety and we even had someone come clean our bathroom as we needed. We had ample resources to succeed in school including study meetings downstairs in the common areas and the RAs we had planned many fun events tk get to know other students as well.

It's amazing . I love hanging out with my friends. I love just chilling or vibing in my room with my roommates or just by myself. Campus is " da creme da le creme " of Florida college campuses ever!!!
