Riverwalk Apartments Dorm Reviews at IUPUI

Since it is an apartment and not the dorm it is more spacious for me and the fact that I can cook here because we have a kitchen, so I really enjoy riverwalk. Even though I have 3 roommate they are very cooperative, and they have become some good friends of mine, and they help me get up and move around more. The whole riverwalk experience for me so far has been amazing and I hope that it only gets better from here.

I have been living at riverwalk for 2 years now, I have been very satisfied with living at Riverwalk Apartments. There are some flaws that it has due to maintenance issues and things getting fixed, there were damages when upon first moving in that have yet to be fixed after being addressed. I took pictures of all damages upon move in so I am not charged for the damages,. I think that there should be more detail when it comes to the cleanliness of the apartments, there are stains on the carpet in the rooms that should be fixed or even no carpet in the rooms so there aren't possible future damages. Other than that everything is great.

Nice cozy apartments that gave a better sense of independence, rather than regular forms. Lots of suspicious characters tend to roam around the campus. Don’t recommend going out at night but during the day it’s rather safe. You’re also provided with a lot of amenities, which is nice.

Here at Riverwalk Apartments, is a great place for students that want to experience the apartment lifestyle without having to pay so much. Residents get their own room and just have to share a bathroom and kitchen with less than 3 other people(maybe friends). Everyone here is so nice and keeps to themselves(because of covid). But there are so many events put on to meet new people, covid safe. And I do feel really safe because the campus police station is right across the street from here.

Riverwalk was a good place and location to stay at. The only problem I had with it was the upkeep and maintenance team. They weren't responsive and when they did end up coming, they broke something else! It was a great experience though.

The time I spent at Riverwalk Apartments was an excellent experience for my first year of college, clean and spacious apartments shared between four people. Each apartment had two bathrooms with a shared living space and kitchen. The communal areas around the apartments such as the volleyball court allow you to interact with other students and make new friends quickly. Overall I highly recommend riverwalk apartments to stay on campus at IUPUI

I have overall enjoyed living here, I have always felt safe and in my opinion it is better than any other housing. You will find though that maintenance will take several days to get back to you and sometimes they won't even fix the issue. Also, if you are not a fan of drugs, my building always smelled like weed and they said they could not do anything because they couldn't pin point which room. Little things like this are what you have to prepare for.

Riverwalk gives you an apartment type experience. You have your own refrigerator and stove. This is one of the few places where you do not have to have a dining plan. It can cut in expenses of college if you cook.

I am a Freshman student that is currently attending the Herron house Riverwalk apartments. I am currently with 3 other students, sharing one apartment. It is a nice living environment that allows easy access to all of the campus. Making friends is easy and comfortable to do in the living room areas of the apartments. I find that it is a great experience to have your own space while also having a roommate that's not far from you if you want to make a friends or just have someone around. I would give the riverwalk apartments a good start for students that enjoy privacy but also require that connect to people while starting your independent life as a student.

I would say it is the best experience I have ever had in a long time. I made good friends, I live in a comfortable and sanitary environment. We did sports we played basketball and we played soccer and It was all good

I love the apartment-living feel but also being on campus. I like having a sense of independence living in an apartment. It is also a nice walk to campus. Riverwalk is nice if you want to live on campus but not want to have to live in a dorm.
