The New Yorker Dorm Reviews at John Jay

Close commute to school which is nice. A cool thing is that all of the people living here are from different schools and internships, as well as a lot of international students. You also get your own bathroom per room which is insanely nice for a dorm. I would say that the area can be overwhelming, and there is a lot of opioid usage outside of the building, but the building itself has great security and beautiful views of the city.

The staff is extremely nice, it is super close to the city, and always has things to offer. The residence advisors are always planning fun events and the kitchen allows for you to make new friends and have good food.

The New Yorker Hotel was a lot to take in at first. It was located near Madison Square Garden with lots to do surrounding me. However the dorm rooms were something else. Everything there was super tiny and hard to live at first with another person. But I persevered and enjoyed myself in the end.
