Lorraine Hansberry Hall Dorm Reviews at Lincoln

I recommend this hall to freshman girls. Since it is not the cleanest, bring your own everything. The janitors do not restock bathroom supplies often and the washer and dryers are not cleaned often. Even though this building has it's negatives it is a welcoming space for young women and many girls are able to get along well here.

During my freshman year my stay was okay. But in the summer and fall its way too hot and in the winter way too cold. The laundry rooms washers were either broken or leaking so it would be a weird smell down there. And the building has a big ant problem.

I stayed in this dorm during my freshman year of undergrad college. I personally thought it was a great way to start freshman year! I shared my room with one other student. Only downfall was the shared bathroom.

My roommate was disgusting and didn't respect my privacy or property. The community bathrooms were never clean and the staff of the building was always locking the bathroom doors so we would have to go to another floor for the restroom/ showers. They always took our microwaves from the floors. Somebody was always trying to set the laundry room on fire.

Hansberry overall was a decent building, being that corona is around everyone had their own rooms so I can not give input on roommates. I was on the first floor with a couple other people, we did not have any issues.
