Turck Hall Dorm Reviews at Macalester

I live on the second floor of Turck Hall. There is little unwanted noise and a close-knit, friendly community. Residents keep bathrooms and common spaces clean, neat, and COVID-safe. People passing one another in the hallway always greet each other with politeness and kindness. As a floor community, we participate in virtual game nights, meetings, and events to stay connected in this unprecedented time. As a result, I've become close friends with many people in my residence hall. Generally, I've had a great experience as a Turck resident.

I have had a wonderful experience in Turck Hall at Macalester College. It is in the best location: the closest dorm to the campus center which is especially convenient on those cold winter days. We also have sinks in our rooms which is a huge benefit especially if you have a lot of plants like myself. The bathrooms are probably one of the best out of all the other dorm rooms; the showers being particularly nice and clean. Overall, Turck Hall is a lovely new home for a first year.
