Battell is just social but it's not that clean. it was an okay experience but the other dorms are definitely better. i enjoyed living there for the people. you make a lot of friends bonding with how mediocre it is lol

It is certainly the biggest and most social dorm for freshmen at Middlebury. It is definitely a great dorm if you are looking to be in a place with a lot of people and creating a tight-knit community. Although the rooms and bathrooms themselves are not glamorous (they're pretty old), the people really make the dorm.
