It may not have been one of the newest dorms on campus, but it could have been a lot worse. I moved in a month into the school year after being forced to be the third person in a double room elsewhere on campus. I did not have a good experience with my roommates there, but Hathorn was much better. It did have sort of a weird smell, and people aren't the most quiet at times, but you basically get that at any university. Overall, it was a pretty middle of the road experience.
