Dayton Complex - North Hall Dorm Reviews at UNLV

At least one or both of the elevators are broken always. Probably the largest rooms you're going to get out of the dorms however. Freshman only. South honestly is the better option out of the two in terms of maintenance.

My time at the dayton complex was very limited but also very eventful, its a very quiet experience but its very open to making friends and very inclusive, getting into the complex and finding parking around it is very hard but overall my stay was very enjoyable its very far from where my classes were but very close to the dining commons

When living in the dayton complex north hall, it was actually a good first time dorming experience. It exceeded my expectations in that the structure of the rooms were very organized and spacious enough for my roommate and I to fit in. The bathroom organization was even better than a communal one. Overall, my experience in that complex was amazing and I would not mind living in it again had I not already decided to live off campus.

The door itself was averagely clean and we'll managed, although the workers in charge of the hall were very hard to get ahold of and lacked basic knowledge in regards to the building. The area outside of the dorm is very sketchy, although I felt safe when I was inside of the dorm.

Dayton is the best place to live as a freshmen because it is all freshmen, making it easier to make friends. The complex is farther away from buildings such as the library and the dining commons, but it is next to the gym

Dayton was very fun to live in, however I’m Dayton north there were a lot of frat boys on my floor and they were always loud around midnight, floor staff usually was gone. In some occasions I did have fun however, I wasn’t lucky with my roommate she was really messy and no one could help me fix that sadly unless I got a new roommate

There is no accessible kitchen, but the rooms are a nice size and is generally quiet. Unfortunately it is quite far from a lot of the classrooms and is a 20 minute walk from the other end of the campus. The good think about it is that it is very close to the recreation center.

It was a pretty good experience. Overall, it was quiet, and a great place to study. The rooms were spacious enough to not feel claustrophobic. It was in the far south of the campus but not too far of a walk that it was exhausting. The cleaners of the building were exceptional, especially during covid.
