Tonopah Residence Complex Dorm Reviews at UNLV

I love my dorm experiences. Everyone on my floor is really nice and helpful. The location of the complex is perfect since it is close to the dining common and many different class buildings. I would recommend this to a lot of people.

My experience has been an overall good one it has everything one needs in a dorm including safety and cleanliness. Everyone there is friendly and the maintenance is always good, everything about it has been good

My experience at the Tonopah Residence Complex was nothing short of transformative. Living at Tonopah taught me the value of camaraderie, the joy of learning, and the significance of embracing new adventures. Tonopah was the better dorm at UNLV. I also stayed in Dayton North Hall. Overall, the experience was good. I got to meet many people and the RAs made the experience fun. They were engaging and hosted events, like movie nights, to keep us all engaged. We also volunteered together, like at the Halloween trunk or treat were we got to decorate a little space and hand out candy. I enjoyed my time in Tonopah and am glad that is where I chose to stay for a year.

I personally loved staying in Tonopah Complex because of the cleanliness of it and with being on the top floor it is very quiet. The staff have always been nice and helpful if I am ever lost. I like the idea of not having communal bathrooms and in our dorms we don't have to worry about that.

I love staying here. While it obviously isn’t the best place in the world, it feels like home. The rooms are spacious, clean, and overall the better side of many dorm rooms I have seen. Unlike some schools, bathrooms are private rather than communal which truly gives you a sense of privacy.

With COVID-19, it is hard to judge the true ratings of Tonopah. On the contrary, with everything going on it is very hospitable and I can't wait to go back. Though the experiences are slim, great memories are still held at Tonopah South. The overall experience of living alone is great and the convenience of how close campus is great as well.
