It was actually pretty chill. I didn't really have any issues, and I liked that it was further away from campus and traffic. It had a decent gym, but the key card would often not work. I liked running in the neighborhood behind the complex. more

Very welcoming and incredibly kind people. There weren't a lot of issues in the building I was living in, my RA was amazing my freshman year, and I really enjoyed being able to live in an all girls hall my first year. more

Cedar East

My only issue with Cedar east is that my roommate smelled a bit like BO. The RA did her job most of the time and there was only one "bully" that I had to deal with until the end of the year. I would change the set up but that's a further issue. more

I have loved it so far! Everyone is really respectful of quiet hours but everyone also knows when to have fun! Our current R.A. is Nathan and he is really great at his job. Since I am his neighbor, we always see him and make sure to say hi. He is super friendly with all of us and is always coming up with new ways to get everyone together safely and is really good at welcoming new people into the hall! more

I am a Freshman and I have had a positive experience in Meyland Hall. Right from the moment I stepped on campus, the room monitors for the hall were very helpful. It may be one of the older dorms on campus, but its very friendly and welcoming. more

It is a really nice dorm, the room space is nice. The commons area is cozy. Some of my neighbors are loud and the trash pick-up service is super early in the morning. But otherwise I really like the homey feel. more

I’ve had a great experience! The space is cozy and spacious along with very nice people. I am in a private room so I have my own room separate from my roommate. We share a bathroom with our suite mates. more

Maple West

The dorms are fairly new and much larger than I expected. I am in a shared room with one roommate and 2 other suitemates and we share a bathroom. The bathroom is large and has a closed in toilet area and shower. The very nice granite double sink/vanity area is in our person dorm and allows us to have so much space. more

Hunt Hall

It's part of the quad at NMU and is a great general college dorm room. We have bathrooms that you just share with your roommate and suitmates so no communal bathrooms! They also have games, a place to hang out, and a kitchen in the basement. Lastly, they have great communal spots to hang out or study at. more
