Great Plains East Residence Hall Dorm Reviews at NSU

Great Plains East is definitely the best dorms I have ever seen on a college campus. My experience in this dorm has ben great due to the quietness, cleanliness, and layout of it. If you are looking for a quiet, well-put together dorm building, this is the one for you.

Overall, Great Plains East was a very good residence hall for my freshman year of school. The dorms are a good size (considering they're dorms). The location was great as well. The bathrooms are good for the most part, but they can get dirty.

Really nice dorms, with great communal areas. The heating and air is amazing, and having the market downstairs is super convenient. The flooring is great and there is plenty of space for storage and everything else you might want in your dorm.

I am having lots of fun living in Great Plains East. Currently, I am in the Living and Learning Community with fellow students in the Honor's Program. NSU allows me to make friends with like-minded people. Everyone on my floor is very social and we have become like a family in the little time we've had together!

Great Plains East is a great place to stay. They have little pods where you can hangout with people that have the same major as you. They also have nice kitchenettes on the second and third floor and has a super nice kitchen on first floor with ovens and microwaves. They also have microwaves and toasters on the second and third floor as well.

I have lived in GPE for two years and overall it has been very positive. I love how accessible and clean everything is. However, with there being a lot of people it is often quite loud in the evenings. The staff is also not always fair, respectful, or caring they often pick favorites. However, GPE is still my favorite building due to its cost to quality ratio.
