OakView always felt like a home to me. I liked that it was specifically for Honors College students which allowed for it to be its own little community. It often seemed secluded from the rest of campus in a good way that made you feel like you weren't actually on campus. more

Living in vanderberg was the best dorm experience that I have had it is always clean and was very welcoming only downside is that the cafeteria was unreliable and it never seemed to be open during my free periods more

It is an amazing residence hall with a great community of people. The rooms are huge and come with a fridge, and it even has a convenience store downstairs. Highly recommend, well worth the cost. OU honors college however is not. more

Staying in vandenberg my sophomore year was very pleasant, I enjoyed every last bit of it. Each dorm was spacious and each student shared a bathroom with their neighbors next door which ilia the bad. Having the cafeteria within Vandenberg made life way easier. As simple as rolling out of bad and taking a few steps. more

It was a great time living on campus. I made many friends and hope others would too. They only thing I didn't like was there wasn't any air-conditioning. It could get a little loud especially on weekends but they have posted quiet hours that the Ra's make sure are followed more

While Oakland University does lack a bit of contagious energy especially during weekends,the reasonable solitude Hamlin hall brings is quite a nice start for incoming freshmen unless sharing a bathroom isn't something you desire. more

Very calming, just a bit dirty overall a very nice place to live at, amazing staff, good place to hang out, rooms have enough space with a great level of organizations. The elevators are a little old. more

Very nice small community house. The building consists of double rooms on each floor. There is 6 floors in this co-ed building. There is a good heating system in this dormitory. The bathrooms on each floor are very spacious and well kept. more

It was incredibly quiet at Fitzgerald. While it was outdated in terms of renovations, it made schoolwork manageable. I was able to focus and had a room to myself. Even though my review of the place is low, my best memories were made at Fitzgerald. more

Nice experience it feels like a home away from home. I feel very comfortable here, it is nice to be here with my friends. We have managed to make these great memories while being here, late nights early mornings. Not to mention the dining hall being right downstairs. more
