Bowden Magbee Dorm Reviews at Oglethorpe

Bow-Mag has been an excellent experience. The staff keeps the halls clean, and smelling fresh. There is a mini-movie theatre that is available for anyone to use. The amenities all function properly and the vending machines are always stocked.

It was a very clean and quiet hall, that came with plenty of storage for me to put my clothes and belongings. The rooms are perfect sizes for one person and the common area was a great spot for me and my roommates to bond and create fun memories. I felt I had plenty of personal space, while the bathrooms were a good size too, I never felt cramped up in my room. The only issue in our room was that everyones bedroom doors would either get stuck and be kind of loud to open, or the door would not close all the way.

Bowden Magbee is probably one of the best dorms to live in on Oglethorpe's campus aside from Jobe Hansen. Their dorms consist of 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms with a living room, dining room and kitchenette meaning the residents do get their own bedroom but share a bathroom which is fine if you have a good roommate. The building has a community kitchen on the 2nd floor which is a little small but gets the job done. There was a bug problem, but if you know how to combat that, it's totally manageable. Maintenance kinda takes long to respond and fix your situation so I'd try and get as many problems handled all at once.
