University Commons South Dorm Reviews at OSU

University Commons South is a very warm dorm. It's a very cozy dorm and it is honestly pretty roomy. My roommate and i will admit that compared to some other dorms it is pretty nice and has a great dining hall. Our dorm is a little way from some classes but definitely still walkable and nothing to really complain about. Our CM does a great job keeping us updated on all events and always lets us know when maintenance will be coming or if we need to know about any important dates.

My experience so far at University Commons South has been very pleasant. I am happy with the environment I am surrounded by and very comfortable as a college freshman here. I hope to continue to have such a positive experience here in the future.

University Commons South provides a lot of pros for someone looking for affordable on-campus housing. While the rooms are small it gives you a great opportunity to build a bond with your roommate. North Dining is literally 5 steps from the front door of the building and the Colvin is right across the street. South Commons is in the perfect location.

The people in my dorm are very friendly. Due to covid, the common area is a little different than usual; however, it is still a fun place. I have met some of my best friends there. I was a little skeptical about having community bathrooms, but they are kept clean in the commons and it is not bad at all.
