Senat Hall Dorm Reviews at Penn State Behrend

The building was under renovation for my Sophomore year (2022-2023), so I was a part of the first few students who got to live in the building after renovations. The building is pretty good, but there are a lot of spiders. That's about it. The common area is pretty good. The layout of the building is pretty interesting too. The laundry area is on the top floor, but it's pretty cool! The kitchen is kept pretty clean too; the communal fridge is safe to use without worrying about someone using your things.

I loved my dorm experience in Senat. I lived there my first year of college and it was there where I met some of my forever friends. This dorm was also straight dab in the middle of campus making it easy to get from practice to classes. It was also very cozy in Senat. It reminded me of a warm cottage. The walls were also super thick which did not allow noise to travel from room to room. Senat is also a suites dorm. So my dorm room came with it’s own bathroom which is also a plus. I am so happy I got to have my first college experiences living in Senat.
