Nathaniel Rochester Hall Dorm Reviews at RIT

My time in the Nathaniel Rochester hall was very good. I would highly recommend to other students wondering which dorm to stay in. It was in a central location and had the corner store and post office right underneath which was very convenient.

It's a bit nosy, but we have amiable people, a good location due to the corner store and post office, and we have AC! We also have a very diverse group of people in our building, due to the "special interest" housing floor location in this dorm hall.

I would say this is the best dorm hall because there is a functional A/C unit in the room. My roommate ended up using it as much as we could. however the air conditioning automatically switches to heat when the outdoor temperature went below a certain temperature.

Overall, NRH is a very good dorm to live in. It provides air conditioning in the summer and heat during the winter. There are special interest housing floors in which you can live with people of the same major or interests. The noise level is most often under control, making it a sufficient environment for studying or completing homework assignments. The location of NRH is very convenient, as there is a store on the basement level, as well and the campus post office. It is nearby to a few different dining halls, making access to food very reliable.

I really liked living here as a freshman and if I had to live in dorms again, id definitely chooses this one. I didn't live too high so it was a nice walk up. Plus I was really close to the stores that sold food and the laundry matt

Nathaniel Rochester Hall is probably one of the best dorms at RIT given its location and amenities (which includes air conditioning). It's directly above the post office and the Corner Store (a convenience store). In addition, it's quite close to the laundromat and Sol's Underground. In other words, everything a student could want/need is a short trip away.
