Campisi Hall Dorm Reviews at Santa Clara

The CF and staff at campisi are always very nice and helpful. Most of the time it is quiet and clean in here. It is difficult sometimes to form relationships with neighbors but most people are friendly. The location is great, close to the gym.

I lived in Campisi Hall for three consecutive years while at Santa Clara University. I started college there as a first-year resident, then as a Community Facilitator (resident assistant), and finally as the Assistant Resident Director. It's one of the best halls on campus for making new friends, I always found it to be a good balance of quiet but social. The CFs always hold their programs in central areas (lounges, basement, lobby, etc.) so there are plenty of opportunities to meet people from different floors, too. The building is also right by the library, right across a walkway from the gym, and one of the closest ones to the Safeway (great since I didn't have a car and had to walk to buy groceries). The only downside to living in Camp is that it's one of the oldest dorms on campus, so other buildings have better furniture/community kitchens and fewer issues with hallway lights going out, for example. There are also communal bathrooms, but at least they get cleaned every day so you don't have to do that yourself or restock toilet paper like you would in a suite-style room (trust me, you get used to it). But! Campisi is one of the only dorms with AC on campus, and its bedrooms are huge. This is definitely the dorm for you if you're a little more on the quiet/studious side, but also looking for friendly and wholesome neighbors.
