Swig Hall

3 Reviews

“
I loved living in Swig. It was definitely the most noisy of all the dorm options, but as a new student who wanted to make friends, it was perfect. I loved that there were 9 floors of students who all wanted to make friends and be social. It was never a boring moment. I would not have traded my experience for anything. Even hearing "Wake up swig!!!" at 3am brought a smile to my face, as I knew it was all in good fun. I loved flying into the San Jose airport and seeing the building rising above all the others around it as we touched down. more

Casa Italiana

2 Reviews

“
I lived at Casa during my final year at Santa Clara. I had my own room within a shared apartment with 3 other girls. I shared a bathroom with 1 girl and a kitchen and living space with the other 3. Casa is a nice, quiet resident hall that is on the edge of campus. Everyone is in their own apartments most of the time, so it isn't as lively and social as other residence halls. The common areas are big and clean, making it a good location for studying or getting together to just hand with friends. more

Alpha - Graham Hall

2 Reviews

“
Graham Hall is a very quiet place for dorms. The majority of the time you don't hear anyone walking through the halls. It doesn't smell bad anywhere. Everything is kept nice and tidy. People work well around the building to keep it clean. I haven't had any issues myself. I was able to study any time or anywhere I wanted. Depending on where you land in the building, some hallways could be noisier than others, but it's not by much. I don't have any troubles at all. more

Sobrato Hall

2 Reviews

“
Sobrato Hall is a quiet, peaceful dorm at Santa Clara University. It provides suites and apartment styles to students and achieves its quiet reputation from residents having their own rooms. The dorm is clean and also has a private courtyard, only accessible to the residents there. Sobrato Hall houses the Loyola Residential Learning Community and has themes of faith and social justice. The Community Facilitators here plan and promote fun and meaningful programs that relate to the themes of the dorm. more

Campisi Hall

“
The CF and staff at campisi are always very nice and helpful. Most of the time it is quiet and clean in here. It is difficult sometimes to form relationships with neighbors but most people are friendly. The location is great, close to the gym. more

McLaughlin-Walsh Hall

“
It was a good balance between social and peaceful atmospheres. The halls and the bathrooms were cleaned every day. The location is pretty good as it is central to Benson, the library, and most of the classrooms. more

Park Avenue Apartments

1 Review

“
I loved living in Park because I felt like I was living in an apartment and I felt responsible for cooking for myself and keeping the common space clean. This is what adulthood looks like when I move out and I enjoyed that experience. However, I felt the hallways could have been cleaned better and the rec room on the first floor could have been upgraded! more

Graham Hall

“
Very quiet and clean dorm. Extremely antisocial atmosphere. If you are introverted, this is the place for you. As an extrovert, I made almost no friends living here. I lived there again my second year because I had found a roommate. Otherwise, live somewhere else your freshmen year. more
