Hennepin Hall Dorm Reviews at Siena

I like the people who I live with and near, but everything else besides the common area needs to be improved. They improved the common area and it looks much nicer, however the cleanliness all around, like the bathrooms, needs to be much better. The noise also is an issue that is rarely fixed because there is not enough force when needed.

Hennepin provided me with a very safe and comfortable living dormitory for my sophomore year at Siena College. Overall the building would be clean besides for some normal messes in the staircases but overall was nothing too awful. The staff is also very welcoming and helpful if needed.

I move into Hennepin for this fall, but I have been in the hall plenty of times. It's your average dorm building, nothing special. It is cleaner than other dorm buildings at Siena (in my opinion), but could use some updating. The bathrooms are communal but aren't gross.

Hennepin Hall is a great dorm to stay at. I was in a 6 person suite and the common area was very cozy and enjoyable. My room was also great, everything was clean and organized and smelled great. Very easy to make friends.

My experience has been pretty okay so far, it's a college dorm so we're not exactly living at the height of luxury. I wish the bathrooms were kept just a little bit cleaner but overall the hall is kept up pretty well. The RDs are nice and the CAs are definitely helpful and they keep everyone in line.

Hennepin hall has been such a wonderful time. The people living in this residence are very respectful, understanding, and friendly. Although COVID is still going on, I do like to keep my door open sometimes just to get a feel of what’s going on outside. I also use this opportunity to recognize those who live in the residence and make friends. During school hours, things are peaceful - it can get a little hectic on the weekends but people are still respectful to those who just want to sleep in or get some work done. Siena’s atmosphere in general is this way; finding the balance between having fun while staying safe and focusing on school work. Although some people are nervous when it comes to a shared bathroom, the bathrooms are always kept up-to-date when there’s a problem and they’re usually kept clean. Wouldn’t trade this experience for any other.

Hennepin Hall is a very nice dorm building. It has its ups and downs but it is definitely doable. The CAs in the building are all so nice and always there for anyone when an issue arises. The residents are understanding of quiet hours. During the time of the pandemic, the only thing that I wish we saw more of was the bathrooms getting cleaned more than one time a day. The bathrooms are supposed to be cleaned three times a day, but they aren't. The bathrooms are not disgusting, I just feel as though with the Corona Virus going on they should really be cleaning them more often.

I am in a quad and I personally love having that option because I am able to live with my friends. The building is large and I like the format of it. The elevator however is extremely nice, especially being on the top floors. My experience so far in Hennepin Hall is great and they do the best they can with maintenance and cleanliness.
