Kelly Quad Dorm Reviews at Stony Brook

The staff is nice and the area is nice. The constant smell of weed might throw some people off as well as the constant breakdowns of laundry machine and dryer machines. Other than that, Kelly Quad is a nice area with accessible elevators.

Kelly Quad is a nice and friendly place but the constant smell of weed might throw some people off. As well as the always broken-down laundry machines and dryer machines. There are accessible elevators that will help people move in and move out.

All things considered, its not the worst. There were definitely better options in terms of dorms, but you can't really complain. Although, there is no air conditioning in this dorm so it gets quite hot at times.

I lived in the Schick building of Kelly Quad, and all buildings in the quad are suites. The suites are usually 4 people with 2 bedrooms or 6 people with 3 bedrooms per suite with one bathroom and a common area. Bathrooms were cleaned weekly. This is my favorite quad on campus because each suite has a balcony.

It is a really nice living space and the people that were living on my floor were super friendly! My RA was always there if I needed anything and would always be checking on us and occasionally giving out free food!

Pretty nice, but there are a few issues. Ask reddit for more info like I'm sure current residents can let you know how it is now and if there has been any change. Possibly the RA's can help you with any of it.

My experience at Eisenhower College was great overall! I loved the Resident Assistants and my roommates! The bathrooms were cleaned often which was good. I was in a triple so space was limited in my room specifically, but my roommates were understanding and accommodating. The atmosphere was also nice at Kelly Quad and it was convenient that West Side Dining Hall was really close by. The only thing that was a bit inconvenient was the long trek from West Side of campus to where the main campus was, but to be honest I enjoyed the morning walk to main campus!
