My experience living there was great. I lived my first year in college and it allowed me to meet and interact with a lot of different people. I managed to learn a lot from people all over that state as well. Being my first time living away from home it was educational to learn to manage life by myself. I lived close enough to classes so that was helpful in the winter. This was just a perk of living there but the people I meet there I was friends with through most of college.
