My experience was amazing. I loved the people in the residence hall. The proximity to the dining hall is amazing and there’s also a tunnel connected to the building which leads to the dining hall, convenience store, Flint Hall (other residence Hall) and gym!

I lived in Day Hall during my freshman year (2011-2012). There, I met some of my greatest friends and experienced some of my best college memories. Although, it was true HIKE to reach my dorm after a long day of classes, I was thankful for the stairs that kept me from gaining the freshman 15. I remember frequently using the underground corridor that connected Day with Flint: getting a late night burger with mozzarella sticks at a small kitchen and playing the piano in one of the large activities room. It will be 10 years this fall - a full DECADE - since I was one of the cars in line at Manley Field House - anxiously waiting to be directed to Day to unpack and start my college journey. I am sure Day Hall looks much different now. I think back on that first year with fondness and nostalgia - it was the start of the best four years of my life.

It's a nice location with a small community feel to it, as it is next to one other residence hall and a dining hall. Other than that it is somewhat closed off from the rest of campus, physically separated because it's on a hill. Otherwise it's very nice to live in, there are still full resources offered and staff and faculty are all helpful and kind. The only downside is that the dorms tend to be pretty noisy throughout the night, and throughout the week. That may be down to it being a Freshman only dorm, I am not sure.

I am very happy to be living at Day Hall because the location is pretty convenient (except for all the stairs), it's actually really clean, and the bathrooms are individual and very large. The rooms are also really big, and you can opt for an open double or a split double. Overall, love it here!

People are very friendly and outgoing. You will meet a lot of people who are willing to help you out if you need anything. You will meet people the most random way possible and next thing you now you are best friends.
