Housing at UTK is very tricky and very limited. I am thankful to have gotten a spot at VolCondos when I first transferred to UTK Fall 2022. VolCondos is not nice compared to the other dorms, but is great for independent living. I shared the apartment with 5 other girls (6 total), with 2 girls to a bedroom. Overall, the apartment was not well structured and felt cheaply done. Our bathrooms would flood, ceilings would cave, and bugs were always in the rooms. My roommates and I were always cleaning and doing our best to keep our spaces clean.
