New Hall South allowed me to make many friends and connect on campus. My RA was super nice and welcoming as well. The events they hosted allowed me to make friends. The only down fall was the fact that the elevators did not work half the time and I lived on the forth floor. more

Maddux/McCord Hall

Anytime I needed anything, the residential life faculty helped me regardless of the issue. The custodial staff also kept the bathroom very clean throughout the semester, which I didn't expect when I first moved in. more

Crawford Women's Village

I lived in Crawford for 4 1/2 years. It definitely has its problems- not super quiet, not always clean, very old, and the AC is awful whenever the temperature is changing from hot to cold or cold to hot- but I really loved living there. It is located right beside the Quad at TTU, which is a great place to go jogging. It is right across the street from a super cute cafe and taco shop. You do have to share bathrooms, but I honestly didn't mind. Sometimes, people would leave their laundry in the laundry room, and there would be a bit of a backlog, but the RAs would always do their best to monitor it. I would definitely live there again if I could do undergrad all over again. more

Warf Hall

I live on the first floor, but I love how the hallways aren't extremely huge. I have anxiety and a smaller space calms me down. The bathrooms, common area, and hallways also get cleaned regularly. I also love that the RAs are super helpful and sweet. more

Cooper & Dunn Halls

Cooper Dunn has been newly renovated, which is great, but it's pretty far from the cafeteria and a lot of school buildings. The garbage truck also comes pretty early in the morning, which can be loud on occasion. There's a pretty good sense of community in the dorm, which would probably be a lot a better if it weren't for COVID. more

Crawford Village

I have been residing in the Crawford dorms for four weeks now. The experience has been great! all the women are very kind to me, and ask each other if they would like to hangout outside of the dorm. Everyone seems very respectful of one another. Our quiet hours are between the hours of 10:00am-10:00pm. During those hours everyone is in bed, or being quiet to respect others. Me and my roommate were very excited for our dorm. It is very spacious! Being someone who can not reside at my parents residence I had to bring all my belongings to the dorm. I was worried that everything would take up too much space, but all my living supplies fit nicely into my dorm. The only negative I have encountered is that the phone in my dorm room is broken, but who needs that when everyone has cell phones today. I would rate the living conditions at 5 stars; especially who I got roomed with! She is very kind, and I am very lucky. All my fears of moving out were alleviated after the first week. This is a wonderful experience for both me and my roommate. When I want a quick snack or some quiet study space, I can head down to the lobby and both are there. The halls have plenty of study rooms to choose from. Two weeks into college my printer had broke, but I was able to go down to the first floor to use the printer offered in the building. There is also a kitchen that can be reserved when I feel like it is a night I would like some home cooked food. Overall, the living situation is great. more

It being my first year at Tech, and my first dorm experience, it seems to be an alright thing, especially because my RA and room neighbors are so friendly. This paired with having a clean and safe environment really puts my mind at ease with the Covid-19 pandemic going around. more

Jobe Residence Hall

It been very nice. Very welcoming environment for a first-time student. Everyone is friendly and willing to help. The bathrooms stay relatively clean which is expected, and quiet time is taken very seriously which allows for quiet study time as well as uninterrupted sleep. The building location is great for music and science majors since it is by a lot of those classrooms. I would definitely recommend Jobe hall at Tennessee Technological University. more

I really enjoyed Jobe and the whole dorm experience. I did not like having to share a room after the semester was over. I felt like I could never get alone time. However, as a whole the RAs and staff organized amazing activities and the dorms very a lot cleaner than I expected. more
