The first thing that struck me about Copper House was the sense of community. The residents here are warm, friendly, and welcoming, making me feel like a part of a close-knit family from day one. Engaging in various community events and gatherings has been an excellent way to forge lasting friendships and create cherished memories. Beyond the community, the amenities and facilities at Copper House are top-notch. The well-maintained swimming pool, fitness center, and recreational areas provide ample opportunities to stay active and lead a healthy lifestyle. Additionally, the beautifully landscaped gardens and walking trails allow for peaceful strolls and moments of introspection. San Juan

I had an overall positive feeling about San Juan but it was kind of terrifying when there were clowns on campus that the police were tracking and one of them came into the dorm building. My room and suite were pretty clean but I had a friend whose dorm was very dirty when she moved in and she found male urine on the walls. The maintenance was very slow to respond to work orders. It was everything from little things such as a broken towel rack to bigger things that impacted more people such as one of the main doors being broken and unable to scan IDs. I enjoyed my experience there and I regret moving off campus but there were those issues. more

Keystone House

My experience in keystone has been very good. The rooms are nice and big for me and my roommates, and so is the bathroom and living room space. The walls are nice and thick so the noise from outside or across rooms within the dorms is very minimal. This house in specific is right on top of the laundry room too so you don’t have to walk very far to do laundry which is very convenient. more

I really liked how close to the mailroom, laundry room and classes the building is. The only problem I ran into was the loading dock was right next to my room and was very loud. Upon moving in there it was very clean, they had a "maintenance/cleaning crew" that was amazing and sanitized everything considering the COVID pandemic more

La Plate House

My experience living in the La Plate pretty good. I had good roommates and to be honest that is what made living here bearable. Make sure you have good roommates or else living here will be a nightmare. I heard our neighbors bringing over people and having parties, playing loud music, staying up late, and running up and down the halls. I do not recommend staying in dorms. more

Alpine Village Apartments

While the dorm life is definitely not the most extravagant or luxurious experience, I don't think that anyone expects it to be. Everyone I met around Alpine, including the staff, were the nicest people I have ever met and hopefully some of them will be my life long friends. That is what the dorm life is about, finding life long friends. So while it was not the cleanest or fanciest dorm, it certainly was great for meeting people so I highly recommend it. more

Vail House

My dorm was broken into and my suite mates and I received multiple death threats on paper, it felt very unsafe. Unfortunately, there was no AC unit which left the first month of residency unbearable as it was always around 80 degrees in out room. Our location and our RA were wonderful, but other staff and campus police were very unhelpful and uncaring. more

This dorm is a cheaper option, and the bathroom situation is nice. I live with three roommates, and we have a nice common area. The temperature is normally good, and the building is maintained pretty often. Staff is super nice. more

It’s an apartment dorm, so we have a full fridge, stove with an oven, microwave, kitchen sink, garbage disposal, ice maker inside of the freezer as well as many cabinets. There’s a living room as well and they left us multiple bottles of strong and effective disinfectant to clean with during the pandemic. more

Eldora House

When I lived at the Eldora dorms, the place was quiet and very clean. It had nice housing, a great RA, and nice people to make friends with. Eldora is mostly a suite type of dorm, so we only had to share a bathroom with three people. The bathrooms were clean beforehand and the rooms were tidy and organized. more

Living in Steamboat is a typical college dorm experience but it has the added benefit of eliminating public bathrooms together. The sinks and toilet get backed up often however and the staff isn't the friendliest. more

My experience has been pretty satisfiable as a freshman. The place is great to room with others, and offers a suite style living experience that not many other places offer. The only complaint is that sometimes the maintenance can be very slow and the RAs on the floors can be rude. more

The dorm provides adequate space for all personal belongings. Common area is forfeited since everyone has an individual room. Bathroom is surprisingly large. Walls prove sound-deadening. Plenty of mirror and sink space. Wide hallway. more
