University Village Dorm Reviews at UCLA

Overall Village 1 is comfortable, clean, and welcoming. Campus enhancement sometimes takes longer to handle requests since it is an upperclassmen dorm, and they respond to freshmen dorms more quickly.

The Vill has been best dorm I have stayed at at Savannah State so far. Being on a 3rd floor room is by far the best because their is no one above you. The dorms tend to be pretty clean and are pretty roomy to.

It is a nice place to live, definitely can use some more renovations and needs more help with the place and price is not that great either but it is close to campus and is eventually bearable but still

Its the best place to live at if your are planning to live on campus. There are 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms in 1 whole apartment building. You also get a balcony,which has a good view and a kitchen and living room

University Village is aa gated community in Augusta Georgia. It is an apartment style living complex. Everything seems nice and of quality. They also have some fun things to do such as swimming, playing volleyball, a jogging track, etc.. The only downside to the place would be where one washes. The washing area is at the top of the hill, so if you don’t have a car and you live in the back, washing can be a pain.

I love it here. I share my room with one other person and we get along very well. I think that the staff do the best job they can to keep the environment safe, clean, and enjoyable. If there is an issue, it gets handles with great urgency in my opinion.

I had a good time living there. I wasn't close to my dorm mates, but our RA was very friendly and always around to help. She did regular "social events" although not many showed up to most events. She would help me with my laundry because I always waited too long to start it.

University Village was a great experience for my freshman year. I enjoyed having my own kitchen to cook in and the common areas were nice to hang out in. However, I did not enjoy how far the village was from school. The walk was advertised as 15 minutes but is actually 30.

University Village is a very nice place to live and the staff is very nice. Parking is close is convent from getting to your car from your dorm and you don't have to worry about no finding a parking space. The living conditions are clean, respectful of privacy, and a good size to live in.

University Village overall has been a nice area to live in and has provided a safe community for all the residents. It has been great for school in terms of location as well as community. The maintenance has been sufficient as well as the staff. Overall a great place to reside for the school year.

Living in university village feels like your living in an apartment with neighbors and all. Being here makes you feel as though your on your own living with who you choose, while meeting bill payments. It’s like a glimpse of actual apartment living, overall ,a great experience.

It is a really peaceful living area with everything you need close by. It is a gated community so safety is guaranteed. There is a bus stop right outside the south side of the gated area which allows you to go straight to the transit center. There is a grocery store 5 to 10 minutes away walking distance with other smaller stores nearby. The staff is very helpful whenever you have any questions and neighbors are delightful. It is overall a great place to stay.

It was nice, it was a bit noisy now and then but overall, had a good experience. the one bad experience would be the times that it would rain, the water would creep inside at times where it was bad .

There are bugs that constantly get into the house and there are shootings that occur on the sides of our building. I put in a maintenance order and it took over a month for them to come fix my problem.

The university village(phase 1) is a very difficult environment to live in. There is always loud noises from outside. It is not safe. The staff is very rude and difficult to work with. On top of all the stress from school, this housing community is very stressful. It seems as if there is always a problem with appliances weekly and the staff will come by to fix it months later if you are lucky.

I really enjoyed my time at University Village. You get to meet so many people. I had the opportunity of rooming with the same person twice. The RAs are so understanding and will help you with whatever you need. At university village, you get your own room and share a kitchen, bathroom, and living space with your 3 other roommates. Everything around you is very close, you could walk if you don't have a car. There is a shuttle to take you to campus if you don't wanna pay for parking as well. I highly recommend University Village if you want to have your own personal space but still want dorm life.

It is nice but could use some renovations. The people are super nice here but the biggest thing is laundry and how they are not in the dorm itself and we may crazy amounts if money to live here to not have access to a lot of things

My time living at University Village at PVAMU wasn’t bad but it wasn’t good either. Maintenance was hardly ever around when you needed them. The RA’s were rude and disrespectful to my mother over the phone. Poor customer service skills.

I must say that at my currant living apartment setting on campus is by far much better than me living in the freshman dorms. The noise is minimal, so my concentration on studies has increased and improved. Not sharing a bathroom with 3 other people is a huge plus. I can prepare my own meals. Not having to eat from the campus venues all the time is great. Not to mention variety is limited on weekends and holidays.

It was awesome I enjoyed it. This was also the first time I lived alone so, that played a role in it. I’d recommend it to others choosing a proper dorm. It’s apartment styled not your traditional dorm.
