Woodcrest provided us with housing very close to campus (within walking distance) at a reasonable price for the area. Our apartment was a little outdated and they did raise the price after our lease was up so we did not end up staying. Overall, pretty good off campus housing. more

My experience living at De Neve Dogwood was one of the better experiences when it came to housing, my favorite though was Saxon Suites hands down. If you want to get the full experience of an apartment-like dorm, Saxon Suites is the best place for it in my opinion. more

Sunset Village Delta Terrance

It a bit more quite compared to the other dorms. Since it is located at the bottom of the hill you only get 4 options of where to eat unless you go up UCLA's "death stairs" where the more popular dinning options are located. However, the Ucla campus store is located only at the bottom of the hill. Sunset village Delta Terrance is very very quite. It is one of the less social dorms on the hill. Since this building has plaza type dorms everyone keeps to themselves. The study rooms/common areas are not used often and therefore lack proper tables and chairs, mainly has a sofa and 2 sofa chairs and a coffee table. The thing that was somewhat annoying was that my housing building did not have a water bottle station/refill area like the other buildings did. Delta Terrance is made up of 8 houses that all have 3 levels and only in house #1 was the laundry room for everyone to use. So you will have to walk out your house down the walkway and into house #1 in order to do your laundry. There is a nice patio with lots of chairs and shade to do homework and study outside. Overall it Delta Terrance was a quite and isolated spot on the bottom of the hill, that had less food options then the top of the hill, but was closer to campus and still had events/places to study outside the building itself. more

Dogwood Glen

While I have only lived at Dogwood Glen for a short while I am very happy with my stay. With the current pandemic going on the staff ensured quality safety and precautionary measures. When I arrived at my room it was incredibly clean and sanitized. Although I bought a foam mattress pad just in case the given mattresses are pretty comfortable and clearly sanitized. I have been given ample closet and storage room. The bathroom is equipped with a state of the art shower that has good water pressure and a rounded up shower floor so the water does not get all over the floor. My only complaint about my experience would have to be the lack of outlets. There are only two in the room that are awkwardly placed (I will have to buy an extension cord so my computer can charge as I work). I am on the third floor and I have a cute view of the other surrounding buildings. While the common areas are currently unavailable the campus is only a short walk away. I am able to study outside on the beautiful grounds. more

De Neve Plaza - Birch

De Neve Birch has the bigger suites at UCLA. The ACS is great and works fast, the windows are reinforced but the screens pop out and are a bit of a concern for some. The showers have pretty meh water pressure but include a massage mode. You get three trash cans and there is a hallway shoot. There is housekeeping once a week to clean in-room bathrooms and they give you free toilet paper and bags. You cannot have a microwave or anything that produces heat with the exception of the rentable micro-fridge which most people don't enjoy paying a premium for. It has good security with two checkpoints that use ID and a keypad lock that also requires a keycard. They change the locks during breaks. The rooms are currently one person in a triple but otherwise, they are somewhat small. There is a nice seat thing next to the window. They provide chairs. The fire alarms are super touchy and there are frequent drills. Also, most people are fine with the mattress that comes but I used a mattress topper (protip get full sheets even with a twin bed) more

Hendrick Summit

Hendrick summit is far from the center of the campus, but is surrounded with beautiful scenery, including trees, bushes, etc. Overall, the cleanliness of the building is apparent in the hallways, elevators, and rooms. Depending on which room you get however, the basketball courts are open pretty late. more

Olympic Hall

I was of the first group to ever live in Olympic Hall (2021-2022) and it was very new and clean. No problems & bathrooms were huge. The only thing I would say is living on floor 1 was not ideal as it was only half the size of a normal floor and the views werent great as it was below ground level more

It is the ideal location, personally. It is near most of the dining hall locations and is not too difficult to walk to from campus. I also think it is a great place socially. Reiber Vista is in an area where there are several surrounding dorms. Thus, it is easy to meet new people. more

It is very quiet because it is a bit isolated from the "halls". The rooms are nice and big. Dining is very close and there is an abundance of greenery. The view facing towards the outside is good. Great place to live if dorming. more

Hitch Suites

There are no security cameras around the complex, so when our cars have been broken into multiple times, there is no way to find who did it. There is always trash everywhere and maintenance never truly fixes your issues. They either break something else in the process or don't fully complete the job. The location is great and price is pretty reasonable. It's a nice first apartment, but the good things alone don't always make up for the bad. more

They have only fixed one out of many issues that I've had with the apartment, and that was because I kept bugging them. I feel like the rent is way overpriced for what you get, also. more
