Alumni Residence Halls - Waston Hall Dorm Reviews at UConn

It is one of the best locations on campus. Close to the recreation center, South Dining Hall, McMahon Dining Hall and the Student Union. Rooms are bigger than most dorms on campus, and showers have their own stall-- something a lot of dorms do not. The bottom level is for laundry, but most of the time the washers and dryers are full- so getting your laundry done is a struggle. Mail room is located in Watson, a lot of my peers and I often had trouble swiping into the building to get our mail. Overall, one of the better places to live on campus.

it was great for the most part. There is no air conditioning so it gets pretty hot in the first month or so of school. The bathrooms are whats expected of a college dorm bathroom, really small, kinda crusty looking showers, the sink water turned yellow a few times from pipe work they were doing. Other than that it was always pretty well heated in my room as it got colder and the location is unbeatable its right in the middle of campus! There's also a microwave and a sink so you can heat up any food that you buy or have left over from the dining halls.
