Living in the Marshall Lower apartments was definitely better than the residence hall in that it is quieter, cleaner, and genuinely nicer as you live with fewer people. Any maintenance problems I had were resolved quickly. The location is also convenient as it is in the middle of campus. The only thing I would complain about is how expensive dorms were.
