University of Maryland-Baltimore County Dorm Reviews

🧐 What do students think about the dorms at UMBC?

Susquehanna Hall

6 Reviews

I stayed there for my first year. Nothing bad. Good that it's right next to True Grits. Dorm has nothing special going for it, though it does have single rooms for those with medical conditions, as well as rooms for more than 2 people if that's what you want. more

Patapsco Hall

I stayed in Patapsco during the 2020-2021 school year, during a pandemic. I was actually very nice, I was at the east wing, I had no roommate so no roommate horror stories. During a regular semester, you share a bathroom with your roommate and suitemates, which is usually 3 people. It wasn't very loud except at night when someone has friends over or something. more

Hillside Apartments

2 Reviews

These apartments are quite nice for juniors and/or seniors. You share the living room and bathroom with 2-3 other people but have your own single room to yourself. You also do not have to buy a meal plan if you live in the apartments. more

Walker Avenue Apartments

2 Reviews

I had a good experience at Walker Avenue. The staff was great and always helped us because we were on the bottom floor, close to the maintenance office. The only problem we had was the amount of ants we would have in our kitchen. They would just pop up randomly and there would be so many ants. more

Susquehanna

The experience was pretty chill. There wasn't much going on which can make it boring but it's great for studying. The laundry room never had all of its machines working. There were at least two that were always out of order. more
