University of Maryland Dorm Reviews

🧐 What do students think about the dorms at University of Maryland?

Denton Hall

10 Reviews

Denton hall was very suitable for a freshman or transfer students first dorm room. For anyone who has already had a dorm room and wants something more I would not advise it for them. The bathrooms were nice but the showers are a bit small and tight spaced. My experience was a 7/10 for my first dorm hall and was just enough for me to experience what I wanted and did not want going into my Sophmore, Junior, and Senior year. Goodluck and Enjoy!! more

La Plata Hall's location is fantastic and it has the best amenities in its designated community. For where it is, and understanding that the building is old, I really enjoyed my experience living here. more

Centreville Hall

Centreville Hall has a nice, large lobby with plenty of study spaces, which is nice to use with friends. The bathrooms are old, but frequently cleaned. Overall, it is old but well-kept and not a bad freshman dorm. more

Elkton Hall

It was pretty standard for my first college dorm room. I found some friends on my hall which was nice but it was hard living near the top floors. I can't use electricity on Saturdays and so it was hard going up all those stairs. more

Falcon Hall

Staying at Falcon is a well-balanced area of living at FGCU, you're nearby the water as well as the gym, basketball, and tennis courts. Perfect area of living for young athletes and those who just want to live by the water. more

Leonardtown Community

1 Review

Leonardtown was very far from campus, so I had to take the metrobus to and from campus. However, you got your own kitchen, so you were able to cook and save money. The rooms were pretty spacious as well for a double, and you share one bathroom with your roommate, so it's better than using one communal bathroom. more

Johnson-Whittle Hall

1 Review

It's a beautiful dorm, right by the biggest and best dining hall on campus. The rooms have plenty of space, and the bathroom situation is as good as it gets without having your own bathroom - they are singles shared with your floor. It gets noisy sometimes but overall it's a fantastic dorm. more
