University Commons Dorm Reviews at Missouri S&T

Everything in the building is catered to the people living there. We feel safe, cared for, and any and all problems get solved efficiently. The view each of us have is beautiful in their own way. It's my first week living away from home, but I know with how this dorm is structured, I'll soon have a second home.

I was able to stay in UC as a freshman, housing with the honors college. UC is the newest residence hall on campus, and it's apparent. Everything still looks new, and the amenities are great. As someone who likes to cook, the full-size kitchen within the suite was a big highlight. I was able to chef it up anytime, not really having to worry about other people on the floor using it at the same time.

The personal space you receive by having a living area and a kitchen is a great value if you like moving around without seeing a lot of people. I also enjoyed havign access to a public space within my room while also having my private bedroom.

It was just a fine dorm room nothing special about i would live in it again but it costs way to much. it was 8000 for a 8 person room which is the cheapest option which is way to much i think and the common area had really bad seats to sit,

UU is a pricey option but it tends ot be worth it asI have a living room, kitchen, and personal bathroom. I do live in a UC single so I also do not have to share my bedroom with anyone and I love that privacy.

I have really enjoyed my time here in the University commons dorm. I was insanely anxious at the beginning of the school year, being just a freshman and all. But the RA's here have been wonderful guides.

University Commons has been an overall great place to live. It's mostly quiet and I don't have to share a bathroom or shower with lots of people. It's clean and the staff are always nice to me. The only downside I can think of is being right by the interstate.

The rooms were pretty small for a dorm but were still livable. I would have preferred to live in a suite that had a kitchen but the common area kitchen worked just fine. The bathrooms were decent and it was a close walk to campus.

One of the most expensive and visually unappealing dorms on campus. Walls are painted a bland gray, bathrooms and kitchens need to be updated. It's just too overpriced for what you get. You pay for a personal kitchen that you don't end up using (even if you think you will), and I would rather use a community bathroom so that I don't have to clean up after my suitemates.

I have really enjoyed my experience at University Commons. I had enough friends going to S&T to fill one of the eight resident suites, and we have had a great year so far. We get a lot of usage out of the full kitchen available in suite. The suite's common area is relatively spacious and we all enjoy spending time there together, talking and having meals together. During lockdown, having lots of friends around helped to ease social stress.
