Sandpiper Hall Dorm Reviews at UNCW

overall one of the better dorms especially for freshman. common areas are pretty clean and the staff is good. It is kind of loud and the RA's do not care too much about that but overall I would recommend sandpiper

Living here was pretty good for the most part especially since it is one of the newer dorms on campus. Although it does tend to get noisy later in the night despite quiet hours. There are also issues with frequent fire drills and maintenance fixing things in a timely manner. But overall the people are nice and the dorm is in a good location on campus.

My experience at Sandpiper Hall was amazing. I had to share a dorm with a roommate and although our bathroom was not in our room, we did not mind. It was very spacious and the study rooms plus tv rooms made it a better experience for the both of us. I would definitely choose to stay here again if I could.

Sandpiper is one of the newer dorms so it had pretty good quality furniture as well as common areas. It also wasn’t to high of a walk to my dorm room so I at least didn’t have to suffer going up tons of flights of stairs everyday just to get to class.

Sandpiper hall is a good place to live especially if you are an honors college student who doesn’t want to live in Cornerstone hall. Friendly atmosphere and close to the beach so I would suggest rooming here if you don’t mind shared bathrooms but still want something private.
