Bean Hall Dorm Reviews at University of Oregon

Chill hallmates, my floor was the creative arts floor at the time. Doors locked automatically but no one would have because we were all trustworthy. Concrete walls blocked out noise outside of room. Rooms on small side.

My time at bean has been good, the staff keep the bathrooms pretty clean and there's actually individual bathrooms rather than group bathrooms which is really nice. The place is cleaned everyday, my main complaint would be that the other students on my floor are very loud after quiet hours have began and nothing seems to be done about it.

Bean is very quiet because it was designed by someone who makes prisons. The walls are concrete, and the rooms are small. So sound doesn’t really travel unless you open the door or windows. When I was there, my entire floor was close, so I wasn’t confined to just my room.

Bean Hall was my first dorm and the staff and facilities were above my expectations. I never had an issue with the bathrooms and everyone was very nice and respectful of others. Though there was construction nearby, I barely heard it. Overall, I would completely recommend this hall to anyone.

I was in Justice Bean Hall my freshman year and although the dorms are small one can make a whole community here. Most of my friends lived in JB Hall and due to this we were always studying together and hanging out with the dorm open to say hi to more people passing by.

It's a very fun dorm to live in. I would highly recommend first year students living in this dorm because of not only the friendly staff, but the student living in the dorm are warm and delightful to be around!
