Casa Bella Apartments Dorm Reviews at UTRGV

It's a good living space as one is provided with their own bedroom (if the single-room option is selected) with an adequate amount of space. There is a large closet, an individual bathroom per person, and the kitchen space is large with an island providing a large surface area to prep or eat on. The Clubhouse also consistently hosts events that residents are open to attend and the pool is nice with a small area to grill or hang out. There is also a small gym that has basic equipment, but is usually clean and well maintained and has all you might need. It is also not too far from campus as it is a 10 minute walk, or 5 minute drive either by a personal vehicle or through the Volt services. It is 5 minutes from the freeway (though the noise is not heard) and close to one of the border checkpoints and Downtown Brownsville.

I loved the experience there. Beautiful setups, very nice apartments. a warm and welcoming community in a very comfortable setting. It's a good idea to get to know the staff, and if you have roommates, get to know them as well. Also, be considerate of their schedules.

It was a very rounded environment with many different people to talk to and many different ways of transportation to the campus which was helpful. Never did I feel in danger and it was also very quiet and I was able to study with ease.

I personally really enjoyed this place. It is situated in a great location and it is very accessible. It is a nice place to stay overall. It’s well maintained and it also has the campus’s gym across the street. I am really satisfied with this location.

My experience at Casa Bella Apartments was amazing! The staff was respectful and always responsive to emails. They kept everything COVID-19 safe. They even returned money due to pandemic changes. I loved living there and highly recommend!

First off, I've been to other universities and stayed at their dorms, and it is not that same. At Casa Bella they are 4-bedroom apartment buildings that the university purchased, so you get your own room! (Unless you want the one double room per apartment, totally up to you). These were brand new when we moved in, but they are still in great shape now too. The residential assistants (RAs) are current students too, and super cool and nice. They also help pair you with your friends as roommates, just apply together and put each other on each other's application, they'll do everything they can to make sure y'all get each other as roommates. These dorms were EXCELLENT bc they were a 10min bike ride from my dorm to my science building. 10/10 recommend.

It was a great experience and I enjoyed staying there! I would recommend for you guys to stay here! The overall environment is amazing and as a college student it was a great space to be in because you could make so many friends and all help each other.

Casa Bella is a great place to live just like in any other place it needs its improvements but nothing that can’t be resolved. The year that I lived there was amazing as well as the staff, hopefully they would continue like that

I truly loved my experience at the dorms just like any other place it has its issues but overall they always were willing to help. the only complaint that I have is the gate sometimes it didn't work correctly while swiping our student's ID, in my opinion, it would be more efficient having a pin system to open the gate.
