With the pandemic, the usual resident hall activities were postponed but I still was able to hang out with small groups of residents outside or go to dinner at Upper Dining Hall. The staff are friendly and tried to put on events for us to safely attend.
Other than that, it's a dorm. It's not the cleanest, the kitchen always smells and has food just left out on the counter, and there's always someone yelling, no matter the time of the day. There's no A/C, so bring a fan... or two. You'll need them. Wear shower shoes and, really, just wear shoes any time you're not in your dorm, there's always a new stain on the carpet in the hallway. The washing machines don't wash your clothes all the way and the dryers don't dry them on the first go. It would probably be cheaper to go to a laundry mat than to pay for the dorm laundry.
