Menard Hall Dorm Reviews at Walsh

It’s been fun and I’ve been able to meet lots of people and still be able to study and work on homework. I like how the RAs are super nice and always check in on us to make sure we are doing okay. And I love the common area where we can all hangout.

All of the resident students in this hall are so friendly! We hangout in the common areas and play games/talk together all the time. The staff talk to us whenever they see us and we get along great. The common areas have fun gaming stations, massage chairs, bean bags, pac man games and more. The maintenance team fixes things pretty quickly in a timely manner, and there hasn’t been any evident drama or issues in my specific hall.

The rooms are LARGE I don't even have enough stuff to fill it so I'll have to do some shopping. The beds are also extremely comfortable and we have workout rooms in each of our dorm halls. There aren't always people at the help desk but there is a number to call when they are gone which is still lovely

Even though being in a pandemic makes things hard, my experience has been great. I’ve met amazing people who live in the building and we make the most out of it we can. Covid-19 may stop some things, but we are happy with what we can do.

I love it living here! The dorm's a little small at first, but once you get comfortable it's just enough space. You'll be able to meet new people living on your floor and in the rest of the building. Having suitemates along with a roommate helps create a group of people that you'll soon consider as best friends.
