Personally, I do not feel that the students in the dorm building respected each other or the staff making it an unpleasant living space. One point while living there, the fire alarms went off almost every hour from 12 AM to 5 AM. At first they lasted several minutes then after the first three, they would go off for several seconds. Enough to wake us up, but never long enough to warrant us to leave. I lost several hours of sleep and missed a class due to it.

Denhart has a lot of potential. The floors are relatively clean and the students in my hall took care of our area. The laundry needs some clean up and work- dryer do not always work. There are times when the halls are loud and some residents are not always making wise choices.

Denhart is definitely one of the older dorm buildings on campus, but it is a more affordable option and conveniently located. It has community bathrooms, which may not be ideal, but you get used to. Laundry is in the basement, but there is an elevator. It is co-ed with some floors being all-female, some being all-male, and others being split by hallway.
