AMR 1 is a typical communal style college dorm. The housing is acceptable, and the communal bathrooms are generally kept clean. While rooms are single sex, floors are co-ed. If this negatively influences your desire to live in this dorm, then I would consider applying for some of the other housing at the Homewood Campus. Other than that, I don't have many complaints about AMR I.
