I lived in McElroy G hall my freshman year, and it was a great place to expierience to the transition to college. I didn’t have air conditioning, so that was difficult at times. However, I made many memories and there was a great sense of community in the McElroy dorms. more

I loved living in Preska last year! It was super close to everything I needed to go to everyday including the dinning center and has an indoor hallway that students can walk through in the winter and bad weather to get to the dorms and other places including the dinning center. more

Julia Sears Residence Community

The staff and other residents are very friendly and inviting. It's a great place if you want more privacy than a usual residence hall, especially with the bathroom situation. I found it easier to connect with others especially since you can have either just a suitemate or both a roommate and suitemates. more

Crawford residence community is one of the older residence halls at Mankato, but what you get for the cost is just fine. It was close to the food hall and also to the community health center, and was a short walk away from the main buildings. more

Living at Julia A. Sears Residence has been a great experience. It has a convenient campus location and is close to both classrooms and the dining center. There is a connivence store within the building that has many items that a college student may be looking for. more

My experience in the McElroy Residence community was fantastic. I loved how close it was to the cafeteria and the library. It also was just across the street from some classes. The parking near the community could be improved by allowing more temporary parking. more

I haven't had any trouble with noise. The rooms are not bad at all. I have a basic double room. My room had a full-body mirror so I didn't have to buy one myself, that was a bonus. The beds are adjustable and the shelf above the bed is very useful. more
