It can clean up nicely if you decorate well. At first, I was a bit hesitant, however, as I continued to live in Owen, I found that I didn't mind it as much. The distance from Owen to the closest dining hall is not far at all, and the distance from Owen to the main campus is only a few minutes away. It's far nicer than other dorms, from what I've seen.

The only thing that is terrible is the water quality. It smells like pennies and it is impossible to not gag when you brush your teeth. 10/10 everything else but the water smell. Super clean and nice dorm.
